LEKTRO sells 3,000th Airporter

ORLANDO, FLA. – At the Aviation Industry Exposition in Orlando, Fla., LEKTRO Inc. announced the sale of the company’s 3,000th towbarless electric aircraft tug to American Eagle Airlines of Fort Worth, Texas, for use at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The tug is capable of towing aircraft weighing up to 75,000 pounds. American Eagle has purchased more than 50 LEKTRO tugs since 1998.
