A client connection in Astoria was the impetus for a recent move from the Beaverton, Ore. area to Clatsop County for Chaz Zalech, accountant and economist.
Coming to the area to meet with his fisherman client for many years, the lure of the North Coast enticed Zalech to move here. He opened his doors for business in Astoria last December.
Zalech, who started life in Eastern Europe, graduated from the Technical Institute of Economics in Poland in 1978 and immigrated to the United States in 1981. He started his financial services practice in Wilsonville in 1988.
Zalech uses the marketing tag line Small Business Made EZ, and was quick to explain what that means.
“I assist business owners by taking the magic and mystery out of the financial aspects of their business, and helping them understand what the numbers mean, and how they affect all the other aspects of their business,” Zalech said.
In addition to overall business and financial consulting services, Zalech provides small business tax preparation for S-corporations, partnerships, LLCs and sole proprietors. Payroll and accounting services are also available.
Chaz Zalech, Co. is located at 4797 Birch Street. References are available. Call (503) 325-5635 or email zalech@isp.com for more information or to make an appointment.
