Women’s Health Forum slated

ROCKAWAY – The American Association of University Women of Tillamook County is sponsoring a Women’s Health Forum from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at Rockaway City Hall. Healthy snacks will be provided.

There will be a panel of speakers including Dr. Samu Kumar, who specializes in internal medicine, who will be speaking about healthy aging. Mary Ann Dearborn, a licensed clinical social worker, will cover the topic “How to avoid those winter blues.” Family Nurse Practitioner Susan Yoder will be talking about “What we don’t know can hurt us.” Patsy Weber and Donna Miles will focus on breast cancer resources in Tillamook County, and Bud Bender will be speaking on “Your opportunity to help the community.” A question and answer period will follow the panel discussion.
