Weddings: Raichl-Todd

Shelby Raichl of Astoria, exchanged wedding vows with Luke Todd of Potter Valley, Calif., Nov. 25, 2006, at Seaside Christian Church. The bride is the daughter of Sasha and Kim Raichl and Carol Campbell of Astoria. The groom is the son of Dan and Alice Todd of Potter Valley.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a Maggie Soterro strapless gown with light gold satin under ivory lace.

The matron of honor was Nicole Robinson of Portland. Bridesmaids were Shyra Merila and Kathryn Keim of Astoria, Andrea and Ashley Everest of Bandon and Rebekah Todd of Potter Valley.

Flower girls were Kiera and Sheila Doyle of Astoria, and Kaitlyn and Annika Todd of Santa Rosa, Calif.

Best man was Andrew Todd of Potter Valley. Groomsmen were Marcus Freeman and Jed Todd of Potter Valley, Joseph Mogford and Justin Officer of Salem and Jesse Archer of Glendora, Calif.

Ushers were Alexander and Joshua Raichl and Matthew Robinson. Ringbearers were Diesel and Kihnley Robinson.

The bride and groom drove off in a trailer hitched to a John Deere tractor. The bride wore ivory rubber rain boots and a bright green John Deere garter.

A reception was held at Warrior Hall at Rilea Armed Forces Training Center in Warrenton. The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.

The bride graduated from Astoria High School in 2004 and from Corban College in 2006, with an associate degree in biblical studies. She is employed at the Savings Bank of Ukiah, Calif.

The groom graduated from Ukiah High School in 2002 and received a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Corban College in 2006. He is a substitute teacher in Potter Valley.
