Obituaries: Robert E. Hatchell

Robert E. Hatchell, 57, of Astoria, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, in Astoria.

He was born Nov. 18, 1949 in Memphis, Tenn., to Curtis C. and Margeret P. (Irwin) Hatchell. His father survives, residing in Starks, La. His mother, Margeret Phillips, survives, residing in Williston, N.D.

Mr. Hatchell married Victoria Lynn Thomas Oct. 17, 1969. She survives, residing in Astoria.

Mr. Hatchell was raised in Snohomish, Wash., and later lived in Portland. The Hatchells settled in Clatsop County in 2000.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Hatchell is survived by two daughters, Corinne L. Hatchell of Burbank, Wash., and Adrienne L. Hatchell of Portland; one son, Cody M. Hatchell of Dequincy, La.; a brother, Terry L. Hatchell of Salem; one sister, Kathy Dickinson of Sequim, Wash.; and four grandchildren, Justin D. and Shawna M. Hatchell, both of Astoria, Curtis J. Delgado of Portland and Thomas D. Baxter of Burbank.

At Mr. Hatchell’s request, there will be no service.
