The Seaside Chamber of Commerce is bringing the 25^th Annual Beach Volleyball Tournament to Seaside August 11-13. The quarter-century old event draws participants – and exposure for Seaside – from all corners of the United States. Businesses interested in sponsorship or vendor opportunities should contact Chamber Director, Alan Smiles immediately.

“We’re (Seaside Chamber) promoting the event ourselves this year, which gives us more latitude to create sponsorship and vendor packages for smaller businesses,” Smiles said.

“Though we’re grateful to companies like Budweiser for stepping up as a major sponsor, we want our local businesses to benefit from this huge marketing opportunity as well. For a modest fee, local businesses can capture the attention, and dollars, of thousands of young adults – right on our beach,” he added.

Past promoters of this tournament estimate the crowds on the beach to reach 10,000 each day of the three day tournament. The visitors include elite competitors, many amateur volleyball competitors and lots of spectators.
