BEAVERTON — A dozen members of Elsie’s Pride want to embark on an adventure this summer by walking to the coast.

“I wasn’t sure if it would generate much interest when I first proposed the idea,” said Diane Brice, group leader and fitness specialist with Elsie Stuhr Center in Beaverton. “But, they’re like lions — all energized and ready to go.”
