OK, I’m just about the worst offender in keeping up my blogging duties. I think I need to set a iCal reminder (yep, it’s a Macintosh) to spur those fickle fingers of bombastic blogging.

A couple of big Sun news items:

First, our very own Reita Hudziak Fackerell of Cow on the Coast fame had her first “legit” column in The Daily Astorian, titled Milepost 51. She’s moving on up, but I will resort to all manner of bribery to keep her sharing on Seaside-Sun.com. So far, lunches are working.

Speaking of lunches, our most groovy Hamburger guy is taking a break. Sometimes this blogging stuff gets complicated and involved and you gotta respect the art of a guy who can write such prose about a bunch of ground up cow. (hmmmm, do we seem to have a cow fetish going here?)

Anyway, there’s now an opening for food-type blog; any takers? Oh, come on. I know you eat. What about a community blog that everyone can send their favorite recipes and restaurant tips into? Just shoot me an e-mail or send in an article comment below and we’ll get the ball rolling. If one of you wants to moderate it, I’m ever so happy to pass the buck. No jackets required.
