MANZANITA – Sea Level Gallery thanks the community and visitors for supporting the arts with a “full moon” grand opening party from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 11.

The evening of art will include a performance of original music by Nehalem guitarist Denise Drake and stand-up bassist Dave Quinton. Light refreshments will be served.

The new artist-owned co-op at 194 Laneda Ave. exhibits and promotes works by artists living full-time in Manzanita, Nehalem and Wheeler. The range of art includes paper art, art cards, stone sculptures, watercolors, acrylic and oil paintings, stained glass works, mosaics, gemstone, silver and gold jewelry, basket and woven art, romantic clothing designs, photography and fine fabric art, among other creative mediums.

Sea Level Gallery founding members are Angelle Soans, Barbara McCann, Carole Grandy, Craig Mackie, Glenna Gray, Jerry Atkin, Julie Yanko, Kenny Fox, Kathleen Larson, Lynn Kyriss, Peppe Champ, Raine Siegel, Susan Torian and Sylvia Thornton. The co-op also welcomes members Jane Wannell, Jane Gillis and Anthony Stoppiello.
