Geraldyne ‘Jeri’ L. Jossy

Geraldyne “Jeri” L. Jossy, 86, of Wilsonville, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005 in Portland.
She was born June 10, 1919 in Silverton to Otto and Edna Dickman.
She married Wilfred E. Jossy July 29, 1939 in Vancouver, Wash. He died at their home in Warrenton in 2001.
The couple moved to Clatsop County in 1980 and ran charter boats out of Warrenton and owned Columbia Lock for many years.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Astoria.
Family members said Mrs. Jossy was an extraordinary homemaker, cook, bridge player, gardener, clam digger and hostess.
She is survived by one daughter, Roberta Tichenor of Portland; one sister, Pat Nicholson of Tualatin; and one brother, Harold Dickman of Corvallis.
A son, Bill Jossy, died in 1991.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Dec. 30 at the Astoria Golf & Country Club, 33445 Sunset Beach Lane, Warrenton.
