Weddings: DiCianni-Servino

Lauren DiCianni of Aliso Viejo, Calif., daughter of Gene and Ann DiCianni of Mission Viejo, Calif., exchanged wedding vows with Kevin Servino of Aliso Viejo, Oct. 16, 2004, in the Church of the Immaculata on the campus of the University of San Diego in California. He is the son of James and Carol Servino of Astoria.

The Rev. Mark Bachmeier of St. Mary’s Parish in Eugene, formerly of St. Mary, Star of the Sea Catholic Parish in Astoria, officiated.

The bride wore a strapless gown of diamond-white silk, satin and organza with a Swarovski crystal-beaded bodice, scalloped neckline and full-gathered skirt with a cathedral-length train.

Maid of honor was the bride’s friend, Allie Noriega of Santa Margarita, Calif. Bridesmaids were Abby Jarl of San Diego; Amy Morford of Tacoma, Wash.; Michelle Barker of Ladera Ranch, Calif.; Kristen Renga of San Diego; Amber Dawson of Baltimore; and Lindsey Servino, the bride’s sister-in-law of Provo, Utah. Elana Schiff of Mission Viejo, served as flower girl.

Best man was the groom’s brother, David Servino, of Provo. Groomsmen were Iman Nikzad of Ladera Ranch; Jared Barker of Ladera Ranch; Bob Steele of San Diego, and Austin Corder of San Diego.

Both the bride and groom are 2004 graduates of the University of San Diego. The bride earned a double major in psychology and communication studies. The groom, who graduated from Astoria High School in 2000, majored in psychology with a double minor in philosophy and leadership.

A reception at the U.S. Grant Historic Hotel in downtown San Diego followed the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia in the Caribbean.

The couple lives in Aliso Viejo, and both work as recruiters for BDS Marketing in Irvine, Calif.
