Peter Roscoe, chef and owner of Fulio’s Pastaria in Astoria, has been appointed to the Oregon Restaurant Association’s board of directors. The appointment was made by Association Chairwoman Connie Hunt to fill a vacancy left by Anil Reddy, who moved into a position outside of the food service industry.
“Peter’s leadership, commitment to, and knowledge of this industry make him an ideal choice for serving on the board,” said Hunt, owner of the East Bank Saloon in Portland. “His extensive experience as a chef/owner brings an important perspective to the group.”
Roscoe began working in 1971 as a bartender/chef at TJ’s Taproom in Astoria. He has also worked in Eugene, Portland and Los Angeles. His past restaurant ownership includes Cozze in Portland and the Sandtrap Restaurant and Lounge in Gearhart.
He serves on the board of the Duncan Law Seafood Consumer Center and is a member of Chef’s Collaborative, as well as the Portland Culinary Alliance, the Astoria Planning Commission and Astoria Golf and Country Club.
The Oregon Restaurant Association is comprised of more than 9,000 restaurants and a work force of 110,000
