Shrode-YuillAmber Lynn Shrode, of Seaside, daughter of Valene Fletcher, of Old Town, Fla., and Gary Shrode, of Seaside, exchanged vows with David Joseph Yuill, of Seaside, Nov. 17, 2004, at the Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach. The groom is the son of Linda Tellhed of Nehalem and Ken Yuill of Warrenton.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a Renaissance-style princess dress with ballet slippers. The maid of honor was Jolie Rodgers of Seaside. Bridesmaids were Apryl Shrode of Portland and Calla Shrode of Seaside.

The best man was Richard Sheldon of Georgia. Ushers were Greg Yuill of Nehalem and Will Leroux of Seaside.

A reception followed the ceremony at the resort.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Warrenton High School and a 2004 graduate of Mt. Hood Community College. She works as a hostess and cocktail waitress at Dooger’s in Cannon Beach.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Warrenton High School and studied at Western Culinary in 1999. He works at HLB & Associates.
