Warrenton resident, 58Janette Marie Conrady, 58, of Warrenton, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 in Warrenton.
Mrs. Conrady was born Feb. 11, 1946 in Edgerton, Wis., to Harvey A. and Virginia Bowers Keister. Her mother survives, residing in Seaside.
She grew up in White Pine, Mont.

On Jan. 1, 1963, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, she married Lauren W. Conrady, a member of the U.S. Coast Guard. Her husband survives, residing in Warrenton.
Mrs. Conrady was a military wife, who made a home for her family at each of her husband’s duty stations: Port Orford, Chesapeake, Va., Port Angeles, Wash., Tillamook and Washington, D.C., before coming to Warrenton in 1977. Family members said she was a talented artist in painting, woodcrafts and home decorations and was an excellent homemaker, who enjoyed baking, canning and making confections. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Mrs. Conrady was a volunteer at the Warrenton Senior Center, where she helped with the lunch program, devoting many hours to table set-ups and preparation and creating table decorations for special occasions and holidays.
In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Conrady is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Karl and Carrie-Jo Conrady of St. Helens; a daughter, Brenda Conrady of St. Helens; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Conrady of Dalkena, Wash; a brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Linda Keister of Trout Creek, Mont.; a sister, Camille Rowland of Tillamook; and four grandchildren, Shawna, Kevin, Kacy and Kelly Conrady. Her father died in 1982.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary. Private vault interment will follow at Fort Stevens Military Cemetery in Hammond.
