Betty Virginia Miller

Former resident, 78Betty Virginia Miller, 78, of Ogden, Utah, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004 in Ogden.

She was born July 31, 1926 in Astoria to Einard and Virginia Sigard Lund Pearson.

Mrs. Miller married Hjalmer “Mick” Berg in Astoria in 1946. He died in 1961.

She married Jack Miller in Portland in 1975.

Family members said she enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and her pets.

Mrs. Miller is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, William H. and Nancy Berg and Mark P. and MaSun Berg, all of Albuquerque, N.M., and David A. and Pamela Berg of Washington Terrace, Utah; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a special niece and her husband, Janice and Ron Hotrum of Lebanon.

In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

A funeral service was held in Ogden.

Interment was at Washington Heights Memorial Park in Ogden.

Gillies Funeral Chapel in Brigham City, Utah was in charge of arrangements.
