Homemaker, 87Kathleen E. Farmer, 87, of Warrenton, died Nov. 7, 2004 in Astoria.
Mrs. Farmer was born April 4, 1917 in Hazelhurst, Miss., to Eugene and Ellen (Chiburn) Hamilton. She attended school in Union and Hopewell, Miss.
On Dec. 3, 1938, she married William David Farmer in Hazelhurst. He survives, living in Warrenton.
Mrs. Farmer enjoyed gardening and sewing.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Farmer is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Carol Farmer of Warrenton; two daughters and one son-in-law, Eileen and Ken Shoop of Hammond and Karen Kalac of La Grande; eight granddaughters and their husbands, Paula and Rory McDade of Winterhaven, Calif., Diane and Tim Grey of Naples, Idaho, Carrie and Sam Jasmin of Warrenton, Julie and Mike Halicki of Hammond, Andrea and John Meiners of Astoria, Tamara and James Aiken of Warrenton, Leah and Mike Nordin of Tacoma, Wash., and Kathy and David Duplisses of Antioch, Tenn.; two grandsons, Michael Farmer of Warrenton and Brian and his wife, Dana, Kalac of Orlando, Fla.; and 25 great-grandchildren, Henry Meiners, Lindsey, Maija and Michael Nordin, Kevin Hennessee, James Moore, Rien Duplisses, Jonathan, Andrew and Annika Kalac, Sarah, Patrick, Brittany, Ashley, Nicholas, Rory Jr., Justin and Cassie McDade, Timothy, Isaac, Elias and Isiah Grey, Brandi and Kayla Jasmin, and Megan Halicki.
Mrs. Farmer was preceded in death by a sister, Sweatha Kilgore in 1996 and a brother, T.J. Hamilton in 1997.
Visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Ocean View Cemetery Chapel in Warrenton. A service will follow.
