Lila Mildred Morgan

Longtime resident, 90Lila Mildred Morgan, 90, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004 in Portland.

Mrs. Morgan was born Feb. 9, 1914 in Newberg to Thomas and Carrie Phelps.

She married Maurice Morgan Sept. 1, 1946 in Vancouver, Wash. He survives, living in Beaverton.

The Morgans lived in the southern Willamette Valley until 1938, then in Astoria until 1984, and finally in Beaverton.

Mrs. Morgan was a bookkeeper, ferry navigator and cafeteria cook.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Morgan is survived by two sons, Ron Morgan of Portland and Dale Morgan of Cayuces, Calif.; one sister, Lucille Edelman; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Springer and Son Aloha Funeral Home, 4150 S.W. 185th Ave., Beaverton.
