CANNON BEACH – The Coaster Theatre presents an encore performance of its zany farce, “Moon over Buffalo,” at 9 p.m. Thursday.

The comedy tells the story of a family theater troupe staging two plays in repertory in Buffalo, N.Y. After a lot of confusion and a fair amount of wine, the plays end up being performed simultaneously, with disastrous results for the players and nonstop laughs for the audience.

“Deathtrap,” Ira Levin’s thriller, closes the season with performances at 8 p.m. Sept. 10 and 11 and 7 p.m. Sept. 12. The Coaster Theatre is at 108 N. Hemlock St. in Cannon Beach.
