Owners of industrial and commercial-zoned land can market their sites for free. The Clatsop County Economic Development Council is creating an inventory of available commercial and industrial sites suitable for new and expanding businesses.
CEDC wants to hear from owners of industrial and commercial zoned lands of at least one acre to include those sites on the inventory. Landowners will be asked to complete a brief survey providing basic information about their properties.
The inventory will identify properties that are ready for development or re-development, as well as those that currently aren’t available. The information will be included in a regional inventory on the Columbia-Pacific Economic Development District Web site and eventually on Clatsop County’s Web site.
“We encourage owners of commercial and industrial lands to participate in this inventory. The information they provide can assist with efforts to expand and diversify the local economy and create jobs,” county Community Development Director Kathleen Sellman said. “The information gathered may help property owners find buyers and will assist the county and its cities in planning appropriately for future industrial and commercial growth.”
To be included in the inventory, complete the survey on the web at www.edctc.com or contact Jill Brewer at (503) 842-2236.
CEDC and Clatsop County are conducting the survey in partnership with Col-Pac, Northwest Oregon Economic Alliance, the Economic Development Council of Tillamook County and the Tillamook County Community Development Department.
