Larry A. Peterson, owner of Hughes-Ransom Mortuary in Astoria and Seaside, was elected secretary-treasurer of the Oregon Funeral Directors Association for the 2004-05 year at the annual meeting of the association held April 19th in Portland.

Other newly elected officers are President Steve Heaton of Finley-Sunset Hills Mortuary in Portland, President-elect Michael Bollman of Dallas Mortuary in Dallas, Ore., Vice President Ron Martin of Bateman Funeral Home in Newport and Business Administration Chairman Wally Ordeman of Fisher Funeral Home in Albany.
