Seaside’s Toyas, Cerelli and Astoria’s Cokley named first team All-League

Seaside’s boys basketball coach Bill Westerholm was named Co-Coach of the Year in the Cowapa League for the 2003-04 season.

Westerholm shared the award with Tillamook coach Alex Iwaniw.

Seaside seniors Vito Cerelli and Jayme Toyas were both selected as first team members, as was Astoria senior guard Digger Cokley.

Selected as honorable mention were Astoria’s Anthony Hill and James Jasper, along with the Gulls’ Pat Latham and Bryan Robison.

The Astoria and Seaside girls had two players each named honorable mention – junior Amanda Laird and sophomore Brenna Archibald for the Gulls, and Fishermen seniors Heather Arnold and Shelby Cullen.
