Portland’s Pink Martini to play the Liberty

Pink Martini, the Portland-based band known for its rich blending of musical genres, will perform at 8 p.m., Dec. 20 at the Liberty Theater, 1203 Commercial St.

Nationally recognized, Pink Martini has performed in Europe, Turkey, Lebanon and Taiwan. They’ve collaborated with the Nashville Symphony, The Jacksonville Symphony and The Oregon Symphony, among others, and their music appears in numerous film and television shows including “The Sopranos,” “The West Wing” and “Felicity.”

“It’s going to be a really fun evening,” said Liberty restoration board member Mary Davies.

3 Leg Torso will open the concert.

Tickets are on sale at all Bank of Astoria locations. General admission is $25. All ages are admitted.

The concert is a fund-raiser for the Liberty Theater restoration project.
