TILLAMOOK – Tillamook County General Hospital has signed a contract to develop an on-site dialysis center.

Hospital administrators expect the center to be up and running by January.

Working with Innovative Dialysis Systems Inc. of Agoura Hills, Calif., TCGH is planning a six-unit center initially capable of serving 16 patients.

The existing TCGH building was constructed in 1950. In 1973, Tillamook County signed a long-term management lease agreement with Northwest Medical Foundation of Tillamook, a nonprofit healthcare corporation affiliated with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and owned by Adventist Health.
