WEDDINGS: Klindt-Hamilton

Kelly Klindt of Independence, daughter of Marilyn Klindt of Astoria, exchanged wedding vows with Michael Hamilton of Independence Aug. 17 in Lakeside Gardens in Portland. He is the son of Larry and Marie Hamilton of Gresham.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother in the evening ceremony officiated by Robert McMillian. She wore a long white strapless gown of satin with pearl accents in the outdoor wedding, attended by close family and friends.
Maid of Honor was Kelsey Weaver of Salem. Bridesmaids were Shauna Ringer of McMinnville, Kimberly Lopez of Lebanon, Andrea Osmus of Warrenton and Stephanie Anderson of Phoenix. Flower girl was McKenzie Coffey of Astoria.
Best Man was Kevin Doellefeld of Sherwood. Groomsmen were Robert Hatchell of Independence, Josh Calef of Independence, Eric Demmitt of Oregon City and Steven Bates of Columbia City. Ring bearer was Nicholus Bates of Portland.

The bride graduated from Western Oregon University in 2001 and works as an advertising account executive with the Salem Statesman-Journal. The groom is a 1998 WOU graduate who is a police officer with the city of Monmouth.
The couple honeymooned in Victoria, British Columbia, and on a Hawaiian cruise. They plan to live in Salem.
