Troll Radio Review rolls out the festivities to celebrate Mark Erickson’s 50th birthday at the River Theater, 230 W. Marine Drive, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.

Erickson, host of KMUN’s Caribbean Moon, is bringing his four siblings to town to form the Mighty Ericksons. This musical family will be joined by the Healing Circle Singers, a group of musicians who give their time and energy to working with kids at Victory Over Child Abuse camp. Troll Radio’s houseband, the Beerman Creek String Band, round out the musical side of the show, while Margaret Frimoth of the Healing Circle, presents the Thousand Thanks Award to someone in the community who is doing good things for young people. Mr. Troll can always be counted upon to show up and bring a bit of good natured humor to the show.

Troll Radio Review, in its fourth year, is produced and hosted by Debbie Twombly. In addition to being performed before a live audience, the show is broadcast on KMUN, the Columbia-Pacific Region’s only public radio station. Admission is $1 for adults and children are always free. Listen to Troll Radio Review on 91.9, 89.5, or 90.1 FM at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.
