Cafe Uniontown hosts folk artist, fiddler

Singer/songwriter Laura Kemp will play along with Roy Brewer on fiddle and mandolin at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at Cafe Uniontown, 218 W. Marine Drive. Cover is $3.
Kemp hails from Eugene and has played at Bumpershoot, the High Sierra Music Festival and the Oregon Country Fair. She has four solo recordings out and a fifth coming out next year.
Brewer came from Memphis, Tenn. before moving to Eugene and has played back-up for John Denver, Smoky Robinson and Johnny Mathis. A third generation fiddle player, Brewer plays a variety of other instruments and styles including classical violin, flamenco guitar, electric guitar and mandolin.
